Rattlesnake Lake Elopement in the Snoqualmie National Park is one of the most popular locations for engagement sessions, weddings, elopements and just to visit for the day. Here are some reasons why we love Rattlesnake lake for couples, elopements and wedding photography.
First, Rattlesnake Lake and Ridge are absolutely stunning. The glacier fed lake and Snoqualmie mountain peaks are an amazing view and great backdrop for your photoshoot, elopement and wedding day photos.
Second, It’s easily accessible and nearby the city. Rattlesnake Lake State Park is one of the closest most beautiful locations to the city of Seattle or nearby neighborhoods etc. Rattlesnake Lake is about a 30-40 minute drive from the Seattle Area. Which is great for elopements and weddings where you’re traveling into Washington and staying maybe in the city area but want an epic view for your photos.
Third, if you’re into hiking there is a moderately easy hike to the most epic views of Washington’s Rattlesnake Lake, Snoqualmie National Park etc. The hike up to Rattlesnake Ridge is also one of the best and most popular hikes in Washington State.
Overall, Rattlesnake Lake is a great place to get married, hangout for the day or have the most epic and beautiful engagement session.
Camille & Darnell Elopement at Rattlesnake Lake
Planning an elopement can become a bit tricky for many reasons. It can be tricky deciding who to invite to your wedding day or elopement day. It can be tricky deciding on a location and how many people you can even have. As a lot of national and state parks have loads of rules and permits when wanting to elope in Washington. These are all things as an elopement and wedding photographer in Washington State I’m able to help lead couple’s in the right direction.
For Camille and Darnell, their elopement wedding plans were up in the air when they first reached out. We walked through many different ideas together. Then we landed on this gorgeous a-frame cabin in the Snoqualmie North Bend Washington area and confirmed reception at South Fork restaurant, everything fell into place.
Starting the day at the a-frame cabin was beautiful and so special. I loved these simple morning moments with the family and friends. Then the sweetest first look riverside in front of the a-frame cabin. EPIC! Scroll down and look at the photos. Crazy good elopement photo spot.
Their short and sweet Rattlesnake lake elopement ceremony was just the best. To photos at the lake and then in a field with an epic backdrop of Mt Si. Then ending the day at South Fork where toast were exchanged, tears cried and cake cutting and eating.
